Learner care, privacy & course terms

A caring learning space.

These learner-facing guidelines explain how GED Extended Learning works, how support is offered, how personal information is respected, and how original course material may be used.

Version 1.0 · Last updated 4 September 2026

1. Course access & independent preparation

What this course is, and is not

GED Extended Learning provides independent preparation for the four GED subject tests. The R3000 once-off fee unlocks the digital course after successful payment. This course is not the official GED test, a GED testing centre, a qualification issuer, or a guarantee of any test result, college acceptance, employment outcome, or visa outcome.

Learners are responsible for checking current GED eligibility, test-centre, age-waiver, scheduling, ID, and chosen-institution requirements directly with official providers. In South Africa, learners must be 17 or older to take the official GED tests, with the required age-waiver or parental-consent process for 17-year-olds.

2. Real-person learner support

Care, boundaries, and urgent safety

Learner support is offered by Sanet Britz, Registered Counsellor, TCASA Registration 30-135/2024. WhatsApp support is provided by a real person, never AI. It is intended for encouragement, learner wellbeing, and guidance around anxiety, bullying, abuse, self-harm concerns, or feeling overwhelmed.

WhatsApp support is not an emergency, crisis, or 24-hour service and does not replace medical, psychiatric, legal, child-protection, or emergency care. If you or another person is in immediate danger, call 112 from a mobile phone, 10177 for medical emergencies, 10111 for police, or SADAG’s Suicide Crisis Line 0800 567 567.

3. Privacy & respectful use

Your learning information

We use the information needed to create your learner account, save course progress, store your writing drafts and lesson feedback, respond to your private support requests, process access payments, and operate the agent referral programme. We keep access limited to what the service needs.

Your writing drafts remain your work. The course needs a limited permission to store and display them to you while providing the Writing Studio, feedback, and course support. We do not claim ownership of your writing. Support requests are private to you and Sanet. A supporter only sees a simple progress snapshot when you explicitly create and share that link, and you can turn it off.

Keep your account details private and do not share another learner’s personal details, scores, support conversations, or referral links without their permission. Bullying, harassment, discrimination, impersonation, harmful content, or misuse of support channels is not allowed.

4. Copyright & learner licence

Created for your personal learning use

© 2026 Sanet Britz / GED Extended Learning. All rights reserved. The original course wording, lesson structure, worksheets, question banks, explanations, original motivational messages, completion records, visual design, writing templates, software, and Sanet’s original recordings are protected as GED Extended Learning content.

Your enrolment gives you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-commercial licence to use the course for your own learning while your access is active. You may download and print supplied worksheets for your personal study only.

You may not share account access, copy, record, upload, sell, publish, translate, adapt, distribute, scrape, reverse engineer, reproduce, or use any part of the course to teach others without written permission from GED Extended Learning. You may not try to extract, share, publish, or bypass protected question or answer materials.

The GED name and official GED materials belong to their respective owners. GED Extended Learning is an independent preparation course and does not claim affiliation with, ownership of, or endorsement by GED Testing Service. Carefully credited public-domain quotations and third-party learning links remain the property of their respective sources.

5. Protecting the learning space

Fair access protects everyone

To protect learners, assessment integrity, and original course material, GED Extended Learning may limit or suspend access where there is a serious breach of these terms, including sharing accounts, copying or reselling content, extracting answer materials, impersonation, or harmful use of support channels. We will use a proportionate approach and keep communications factual.

If you believe someone is using your account without permission, or you see course material being copied or sold, contact Sanet with the link or screenshot. Please do not make public accusations. We will preserve the information and take the appropriate next step.

6. GED Extended Learning agent programme

Share honestly. Earn fairly.

Registered GED Extended Learning agents receive a personal referral link. A 10% reward, currently R300, is tracked only when a new learner completes a successful R3000 course payment through that referral link. Rewards are paid manually after the enrolment is confirmed.

Agents may not promise GED results, official qualification outcomes, counselling services, college admission, refunds, or discounts unless written approval has been given by GED Extended Learning. Agents must use truthful, caring messages and must never pressure vulnerable learners or families.

You are welcome here.

This course was created for learners who want a fresh start, a different route, or a more supportive way to prepare. Your pace, your background, and your authentic self are respected here.

Much love
